Why fight the crowds for weekend dining on Lake Hopatcong?
Offerings range from casual to fine dining, plus an extensive selection of wines, beers and liquors.
- Pub Menu on Friday Evenings from 6 until 8pm- Bring your friends – repeatedly! There are no limits on the number of times you can bring your family, friends and loved ones on Fridays this summer.
- Weekend Lunches and Dinners are available for takeout both days.
- Our heated pool is open every Friday until 8pm, so you can place your Pub Menu order at the bar until 7:30 pm and dine in your bathing suit!
- Sunday breakfast/brunch and lunch menu from 11:30 to 2pm, with beer and wine, served on the dining balcony,
- Poolside dining events, accompanied by music, karaoke dancing and family activities.
- Family picnics feature a hearty barbeque menu by the pool for Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day. Children’s entertainment and activities keep everyone busy at these family affairs.
- Fine dining and entertainment every Saturday and selected Fridays.
- Saturday Reservations are required by noon on Wednesday, although a more limited food selection is available beyond that date.
About our Chef
Chef Jake Stank has been preparing fine cuisine on and around Lake Hopatcong for more than 15 years. Working in local restaurants as a teenager, he has a passion for good food, and a unique style of cooking that is modern, precise, and delicious. Chef Jake aims to make his summer’s food offerings the best ones yet!
Unmatched Year-Round Entertainment
We offer a fantastic variety of year-round entertainment and activities.
The variety and creativity of events keeps members coming back every weekend. See top quality comedians, cabaret singers or tribute bands. Annual galas, an outrageous Halloween costume party, and a holiday party are GSYC traditions.
Year-round entertainment is crafted by our member-led committee to appeal to the varied interests of our members. Favorite activities include wine & food tastings, Broadway show trips, foreign film nights, children’s activities and the annual car rally.
GSYC Ladies & Men's Clubs
The GSYC Ladies Club is a friendly, active and fun-loving group that get together all year round. In summer, there’s weekly luncheons, card games, book club, and programs. “Shop ‘Til You Drop,” our annual boutique vendor fundraising luncheon, has returned.
Off-season, there is a monthly book club discussion, cooking demos, movie & tv talks, and an autumn foliage spa get-away every few years. Our focus is on having fun and spending time with friends. There’s something for everyone at the GSYC Ladies, so we welcome you to join us!
The GSYC men’s group is called The Romeos and meets week at the docks and boats to lunch at all the various lake restaurants. It continues to lunch frequently during the year at the lake or in restaurants further east.
GSYC members have various groups for men and women that golf every week in the summer and fall at nearby golf courses.
There are coed canasta games and Mexican train dominos on Monday evenings every week. Members are always welcome to learn and join the fun.
Parties and Private Events
The GSYC can be the an exciting destination to hold lakeside, poolside or other off-season private or business events from Labor Day thru Memorial Day with some midweek summer dates available.
The panoramic view of Lake Hopatcong is an amazing and unique backdrop for catered weddings, anniversary, celebrations and meetings. GSYC members enjoy discounted facility rental.
